First (extremely shoddy) attempt at drawing a human figure! But an attempt nonetheless (after years of procrastination). I have forever resisted the ‘How to draw Human Figures‘ lessons and the outcome is shamefully apparent! Oh how I hate a colorless book of egg and stick figures. But there ain’t no escaping now, is there? I am beginning to see a point in Picasso’s take on art ;-)
This one is (or was supposed to be) a classic Edgar Degas’ Ballerina. I drew it with tips from Francisco Asensio Cerver’s book on pastels. Again, its done in GIMP. I wonder what is it about GIMP I prefer over Corel Photo Paint.
The ballerina doesn’t look too pleased with the box chest I gave her :-o !
